Colepark Bearded Collies

About Our Dogs

We got our first Bearded Collie in December 1986.  She was a slate girl rescued from Animal Lifeline and we called her Susie. Closely followed by Ben a Collie Cross.  Sadly we lost her after only 4 short years to cancer.  Just before we lost her we got Lucy another Cross Breed dog and shortly after losing Susie, along came Bessie our Border Collie.

In October 2002 we lost Ben aged 16 and we then waited until July 2004 to get another Beardie.  This time we had a slate boy called Barney, another Rescue but from Southern Beardie Aid this time but we soon found that he was too lively for our old girls, so the search for our new beardie began.  This time we wanted a brown girl, who we thought we could show and Aimee arrived in February 2006.  6 months later a little slate girl called Molly, who had a bad start in life came to Southern Beardie Aid and so she joined our other 4 dogs too.  We lost Lucy in June 2007 aged 17.  We lost Bessie at 18 years old in November 2008.

We had a wonderful litter of 7 brown puppies from Aimee in July 2009 and we kept Ted. Ted has made an amazing start in the showring and we are very proud of him.

In June 2013 we had our second litter of puppies from Demelza. She and Twister produced 6 wonderful Slate puppies and Henri will be staying here at Colepark.

All our dogs live as part of our family and have free run of the house.  We hope you enjoy looking at our dogs, beardies and non beardies alike.

Colepark Eternal Legend and Colepark Saxon Warrior

We are proud to say Moses (Colepark Eternal Legend) has returned to training and since September 2016 has been working on his KC Good Citizen Awards.  He began with a revision on his Bronze Award and followed it with completing his Silver Award in February 2017 and Finally in July 2017 he passed his Gold Award.  Well done to Moses and Dawn for completing the courses.

We started the KC Good Citizen Awards with Henri (Colepark Saxon Warrior) in February 2017. Henri had no training before he started at Best Paw Forward Dog Training Club and in March 2017 he passed his Bronze Award, in May 2017 he finished his Silver Award and in July 2017 he passed his Gold Award.  We are so proud of this boy.

These are the first 2 Colepark's to gain their Gold Awards and we couldn't be more pleased.
